The Oyster Roast for the Coast is more than a fall gathering. It is our annual celebration of the community’s greatest conservation accomplishment: the permanent conservation of The Point, now the Topsail Nature Preserve.
For years, people across Topsail Island and beyond came together with determination, generosity, and a shared belief that this remarkable place should remain wild and protected. That dream became a reality. Today, The Point is permanently conserved as part of the Topsail Nature Preserve, ensuring that this extraordinary stretch of coastline can be enjoyed and appreciated by generations to come.
